Little Women
Music by Jason Howland
Lyrics by Mindi Dickstein
Book by Allan Knee

Musical
Little Women the musical is a story about a young writer Jo March and her sisters’ experience growing up during the Civil War in the US.

The design team tells this story from Jo’s perspective. The main visual appears to be the attic. It is the place of the March sisters’ childhood memories and the place where Jo writes the story. Based on natural lighting color and angles, the lighting design develops unique lighting patterns for every scene. The shapes of the rafters and the window are stressed at the attic scene. The foliage shapes are for the Sun Porch scene. The colonial window patterns are for the Boarding House. The tree branches and water patterns with green and blue colors are for the fantastic world.
